Commissioner Desirae Lewis Jackson, representing District 5, began her second term on November 13, 2024, having been first elected on November 11, 2020, as the youngest person ever elected to the Elmore County Commission. A Wetumpka native, she holds a Juris Doctor and is the founder of the Lewis Law Firm, PC, specializing in criminal defense, family law, and juvenile dependency cases. She is highly active in the community, serving as President of the Elmore County Bar Association and Chairman of the Elmore County Mental Health Task Force, among other roles.
