Rosemary Murphy was elected as Montrose County Treasurer and Public Trustee in November 2006, bringing with her a strong background in finance and leadership. She previously worked eight years in the Treasurer’s Office, including time as Chief Deputy Treasurer, along with 10 years at a local financial institution and 14 years in management and supervision at a large mail order business in Virginia. In her role at the County, Rosemary is committed to fulfilling all statutory responsibilities while leveraging the experience of her staff to provide professional, reliable service and excellent customer care to the citizens of Montrose County.
