About

Maritza Avila-Vazquez was elected Commissioner of District 3 in 2018 and chosen Vice Mayor in December 2021. She is a retired Executive Director and Vice-President from Republic National Bank of New York, where she managed their Technical Call Center. Since relocating to Deltona in 2000, she has been actively serving her community as a volunteer and leader.
