About

Steven Glassman was sworn in as Fort Lauderdale City Commissioner of District 2 on March 20, 2018, re-elected to a second term on November 3, 2020, and in 2024, he began serving his third and final term. Steve was born in New York City in 1953 and grew up on Long Island. After receiving his BA and EdM Degrees from SUNY Buffalo, he settled in Buffalo, New York where he was an educator for eighteen years.
