Councilmember Tharp was appointed to the City Council District I seat in July 2017, and was recently re-elected in March 2024. Mr. Tharp previously served on the City Council, and on the City’s Planning Commission Board. He has been a resident of Greenacres and resides here with his wife and daughter. Mr. Tharp is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Providence and his professional experience includes sales and project management in Information Technology and Real Estate.
