About

Born in Santa Fe, Cuba in 1970, Councilman Luis Gonzalez moved to Hialeah in 1981 and has called it home ever since. After pursuing accounting and earning a degree in Management, he worked in sales and launched a printing company before joining the City's Zoning Board in 2005. He served twelve consecutive years on the Hialeah City Council, including as Council President, and was elected President of the Miami-Dade League of Cities in 2012.
