About

Born the son of a U.S. Army officer, Kevin Carrico grew up living all over the country and the world before his family settled in Jacksonville. He graduated from Florida State University in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and later earned a master’s degree in public administration from the University of North Florida. Kevin now serves as the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida and was elected the 57th President of the City Council in 2025.
