About

Vice Mayor Julie Kennedy was first elected to the Melbourne City Council in 2018 and re-elected in 2022 to represent District 6. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and elementary education and a master's in educational leadership, having worked for Brevard Public Schools since 1996. Currently a building administrator at Brevard Adult and Community Education, she also serves as president of the Space Coast League of Cities.
