Commissioner Colbourne represents District 5 and is currently the Chair. She was awarded the “Complete Streets Champion Award” during the 2023 Safe Streets Summit, for being an exceptional leader and catalyst in advancing Complete Streets in Broward County. Under her leadership as Chair, the Broward MPO adopted its 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) creating a road map for the future vision of transportation not only in Miramar but also for the entire Broward County region.
