Commissioner Fitz Budhoo was elected to the Oakland Park City Commission on November 5, 2024, to serve a four-year term. Born in Manhattan, New York, he moved to Miami, Florida, in 1985 and began his journey into public service in 1991 with the Miami-Dade County Solid Waste Management Department. He holds a Master of Arts in Business Administration from Florida International University and is an active member of the Oakland Park Kiwanis Club.
