Robert A. “Trey” Goodwin III is an Okaloosa native, a University of Florida and Florida State University School of Law graduate, and founder of Goodwin Law Group. He has served as a Fort Walton Beach City Council member (2011-2014) and as County Commissioner for District 4 since November 2014, also serving as Chairman in 2023 and 2026. Additionally, Commissioner Goodwin is a personal watercraft safety advocate and lives in Fort Walton Beach with his family.
