Curtis Richardson, Mayor Pro Tem - Seat 2, was born in Jacksonville and reared in Green Cove Springs, Florida. He graduated with honors in 1974 and obtained a B.S. degree in Psychology from Florida State University, later earning a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of West Florida and a Master's degree in School Psychology from FSU. His career in public service began with his election to the Leon County School Board in 1990, followed by election to the Florida House of Representatives in 2000.
