Willie C. Weaver, Sr., was born in Manchester, Georgia, and raised in Albany, Georgia, graduating from Dougherty High School. He served thirteen years in the U.S. Army as a medical specialist before earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Mercer University. After practicing law for over thirty years, he served on the Dougherty County School Board and as Chief Judge of Albany Municipal Court before being sworn in as City Commissioner for Ward 2 in June 2025.
