Madeleine Simmons was elected in November 2019 to represent District 3 and was re-elected unopposed in November 2023. As Councilwoman, she has championed initiatives such as gaining ownership of Brookhaven Park, building Langford Park, and leading on mental health crisis intervention funding. She is also an equity partner at Stewart Miller Simmons Trial Attorneys and President of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.
