A lifelong resident of Chatham County, Chairman Chester A. Ellis is committed to investing in this community and its citizens. He is a proud graduate of Sophronia Tompkins High School and Savannah State University, holding a Master's Degree from Cambridge College. Elected Commissioner for District 8 in 2017, he now serves as Chairman and is the pastor of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.
