Commissioner Joyce Evans was elected to represent Lowndes County, District 1 in 1996 and re-elected in 2000, serving until 2004. After a short absence, she was again elected in 2008 to represent District 1 through 2012. Joyce brings expertise and years of experience in public/human services and business ownership/management to the Board of Commissioners.
