Jim Thomasson is a proud native of Newnan, Ga, where he graduated from The Heritage School in 1980 before earning a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University. His commitment to community service began early serving the Boy Scouts of America in various capacities and becoming an Eagle Scout. Representing District 3 on the Newnan City Council, Jim actively contributes to the Newnan community.
