A resident of Peachtree Corners for over 25 years, Ora B. Douglass was elected as the first African American female Councilwoman in November 2023. She is a retired registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida A&M University and a Master of Nursing Administration Degree from Emory University, and a veteran of the US Army Nurse Corps.
