About

Kurtis Purtee was born and raised in Michigan, later attending school for Criminal Justice and entering law enforcement at 19. He moved to Savannah, Georgia in 2005, taking a police job with the Garden City Police Department, where he advanced to Captain for Georgia Southern University Police Department. He was elected District 6 Alderman in December 2019.
