About

David Resnick was first elected to the Dubuque City Council in 2007 and re-elected to a fifth term in November 2023 as an at-large member. A native Iowan, he has resided in Dubuque since 1984, serving on the Fine Arts faculty of Clarke University and as executive director of the Northeast Iowa School of Music.
