Sheriff Everett L. Sesker is a proud son of Anne Arundel County. He served 22 years with the Prince George's County Police Department, rising to the rank of Major, and later became Executive Director of the Maryland Police Training and Standards Commission. Sworn in on December 6th, 2022, Sheriff Sesker is the first African American Sheriff for Anne Arundel County.
