James J. Moran was first appointed to the Queen Anne's County Commissioners in 2013 and was re-elected in 2022, now serving his third term as an At-Large Commissioner. A Marine Corps veteran, he founded his own construction businesses before entering public service. He is dedicated to preserving farmland and supporting the Drug Free Coalition in Queen Anne's County.
