Kathalee James retired from General Motors as a Senior Quality Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oakland University. She was elected to represent City Council District Four in November 2025 to a four-year term expiring on January 1, 2030. She has affiliations with Eastside Church of God and was the Founder and President of Friends of the Pontiac Parks Association.
