Mayor Tim Woolley is only the eighth man to serve as mayor of the City of Taylor in its half-century-plus existence. He was first elected mayor on November 2, 2021, and re-elected in November 2025 for a second four-year term. He previously served two four-year terms on the Taylor City Council.
