Lori Arons was appointed to fill the vacancy in District #3 on January 29th, 2024, when Shannon Otto resigned. She has been a resident of Jefferson County since 2001 and retired from teaching in 2020 after over 30 years. Prior to her appointment, Lori was actively involved with county government and founded a non-partisan Facebook group focused on responsible development.
