About

Mike Nelson is a proud native of Billings, having graduated from Eastern Montana College with a degree in Economics. After a career in the Hotel/Casino industry in Las Vegas, he returned to Billings in 2008 to refurbish the Northern Hotel and has since been active in community leadership roles, including chairing the Big Sky Economic Development Corporation and the Billings Chamber of Commerce. As Mayor, his priorities include Public Safety, a vibrant economy, and a great quality of life for the Magic City.
