About

Commissioner ET Mitchell was elected to the Craven County Board of Commissioners in 2022 and 2018, after previously serving on the Board of Alderman for the City of New Bern. She retired to New Bern in 2009 from the Washington D.C. area after spending two decades as a Naval Intelligence Officer with specialities in crisis operations, counter-espionage and anti-submarine warfare. She is a graduate of the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee.
