About

Commissioner Mason moved to Craven County in 2015 after retiring as a systems analyst for a defense contractor, following over twenty years of service in the U.S. Army. He holds a bachelor's degree in History from Western Michigan University and a master's degree in National Security Studies from the U.S. Army War College. He is a member and Trustee of the Bridgeton Methodist Church and is married to Patti Mason, who serves on the Craven County Board of Education.
