Commissioner Fred McClure was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and resides in the Welcome community. He served in the United States Air Force and Navy, including two tours in Vietnam, before opening McClure Insurance Group in 1975. He has served multiple non-consecutive terms as a Davidson County Commissioner since 1994 and is a Past-President of the NCACC.
