Gloria Whisenhunt has been a Forsyth County Commissioner since 1996, serving as both Vice Chair and Chair. Prior to this, she served on the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education from 1990-1996. A retired cosmetologist, she decided to run for school board after her son left for college.
