Jim Bailey is a Gaston County native who served in the US Air Force for over two decades, including deployments in Desert Storm and Afghan Freedom. He then had a distinguished 30-year career in Law Enforcement at the Gaston County Sheriff's Office, becoming the first deputy sheriff from Gaston County to attend the FBI National Academy. Currently, he works as a training coordinator and is married with two adult children.
