Donyel B. Barber, a Spelman College graduate, has a background in child protective services and non-profit leadership, currently serving as Director of Health Equity Initiatives at Kintegra Health. In 2019, she made history as the first African American female elected to Gastonia's city council, where she is now serving her second term. She is committed to promoting equity and opportunity for all people in her community.
