Marcus McIntyre was first appointed to the Town Council in 2018 and was elected to a four-year term in 2019, during which he also served as Mayor Pro Tem. After choosing not to run for reelection in 2023, he ran again in November 2025 and was elected to another four-year term. Council Member McIntyre lives in Indian Trail with his wife and three sons.
