LeAnn Pierce was elected to the New Hanover County Board of Commissioners in 2022 and serves as Chair. She previously served as Mayor for the Town of Carolina Beach and owned and operated a hotel for 30 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from East Carolina University.
