About

Tim Foster was born and raised in Onslow County and began his public service in 1991 as a teacher in the Onslow County School system. He retired in June 2022 after 31 years, having also served as assistant principal and principal, and was selected as the 2018 Onslow County Schools Principal of the year. Commissioner Foster, who holds a B.A. from UNC Wilmington and a Masters from East Carolina University, is currently in his second term.
