Commissioner Gurley was elected to the Wayne County Board of Commissioners in November 2020 for District 5. He is a lifelong resident of Wayne County, a licensed landscape and irrigation contractor, and started Turf Master Goldsboro in 1987. Chris has also served in the volunteer fire service since 1984 and is married with three daughters.
