Commissioner Aycock was appointed to the Wayne County Board of Commissioners in November of 2020 to serve District 1. She joined the Board of Commissioners after 15 years of experience in local government, serving as town administrator for the Town of Fremont and the Town of Black Creek. Barbara is a lifelong resident of Wayne County and resides in Pikeville.
