Commissioner Harrell was elected to the Wayne County Board of Commissioners in November 2024 for District 4. A lifelong resident of Wayne County, he holds a Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate degree from North Carolina State University and has dedicated twenty-eight years to public education in various capacities, including teacher, principal, and assistant superintendent. He is honored to serve his community and the citizens of Wayne County.
