Councilman Bergson Leneus has proudly served the 3rd ward since 2018, making history as the first Haitian American elected to the East Orange City Council. Born and raised in East Orange, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and focuses on progressive legislation for the community. He previously served on the East Orange Board of Education and chaired several Council committees.
