Councilwoman Tameika Garrett-Ward is a lifelong resident of East Orange, first elected during the General Election on November 5, 2019, to fill an unexpired term. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Montclair State University and a Master’s Degree in Education: Administration and Supervision from St. Peter’s University.
