Commissioner Susana Chaparro was elected to the District 4 seat on the Doña Ana County Board of Commissioners on Nov. 3, 2020, and assumed duties on Jan. 1, 2021. Her four-year term ends Dec. 31, 2024, and she is eligible to seek re-election. District 4 encompasses most of northeast Doña Ana County, including the East Mesa, Hacienda Acres, Organ, Moongate and the eastern areas of the City of Las Cruces.
