Darrell Johnson graduated from Goddard High School and Eastern New Mexico University, working for 22 years at Transportation Manufacturing Corporation (TMC) and Nova Bus. He has spent the last 20 years with the New Mexico Department of Transportation, currently serving as the General Business Manager for District 2, overseeing a multimillion-dollar budget. Johnson has a strong history of community involvement, including coaching youth sports and serving as a mentor for at-risk youth.
