About

The son of a railroad construction worker, Charles Curran was born in 1939 in Galion, Ohio, and graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 1963. He served as a Dayton City Commissioner (1970-1979), Ohio State Senator (1979-1983), and Montgomery County Commissioner (1983-2006). Charles brings extensive government experience to his role as Councilmember, having also taught political science at Sinclair Community College until his retirement in 2017.
