Commissioner John Plecnik was sworn in as the 79th Commissioner of Lake County, Ohio, on February 11, 2021, and for his second term on December 29, 2022. He is one of three Lake County Commissioners, responsible for setting the budget and administrative policy for county government. He previously served as Vice President of Council for the City of Willoughby Hills and holds degrees in accounting, law, and tax.
