Dr. Uptegrove started with the Coroner's Office in April 2004 and was appointed County Coroner in April 2007. He received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed a fellowship in Forensic Pathology. He also serves as a Forensic Pathologist for the Montgomery County Coroner's Office.
