About

Sandie Denise Walker was first elected as York City Mayor in November 2025. A graduate of William Penn Senior High School and the University of Richmond, she began her career in public service with the York City Health Bureau and as Youth Program Coordinator. She previously served six years as a director for the School District of the City of York and as President of York City Council.
