Karl L. Brady, Jr. has served as the Charleston City Councilmember for District 5, representing Outer West Ashley, since 2019. He serves as Chair of the Ad Hoc Rules Committee and Special Facilities Committee, and Vice Chair of the Human Resources Committee and Traffic and Transportation Committee. Outside of City Council, Karl is the Director of Government Affairs for the Charleston Animal Society.
