Kathryn Whitaker was elected to Mount Pleasant Town Council in November 2025. She served on the Town's Culture, Arts & Price Commission and was its Chair, working to make the Community Arts Center a reality. A South Carolina native, she is a successful business professional with over 20 years in legal marketing, and an active parent volunteer and church member.
