About

Spartanburg County Councilman Bob Walker has spent much of his life in service for others. Born and raised in Landrum, Walker graduated from Landrum High School and the University of South Carolina before serving in the U. S. Air Force as a captain and pilot during the Vietnam War era. When Walker returned to Landrum in 1974, he joined First Baptist Church of Landrum and the Landrum Lions Club. For the past 40 years, he has served in many capacities in both the church and the Lions organization.
