A lifelong resident of Sumter, South Carolina, Councilman Jimmy Byrd is the elected Council member for District #3 and currently serves as the Vice Chairman of Sumter County Council. He graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and was first elected to Sumter County Council on Dec. 19, 2006.
